Halli learned to ride a bike a couple months ago. I knew she was ready, she had been for a year, but hadn't realized it. So, to plant a bit of... insentive, I casually told her if was wanted to try without the training wheels, we would make some cookies!

"Okay!" she exclaimed to my surprise, and off she went! It didn't take her long at all to become a little pro! She really is very athletic. It is fun to see her and all her tricks, and to watch her little knees just zipping up and down!

On her first day, she was getting the hang of stopping... She took to the "Man from Snowy River," style! She managed to keep from skinning her knees (for a while, anyhow).

Just a little Walk with Friends

We go for walks behind our house often (less often now that they are older and harder to cram into my little Burley... The Girls will often ride their bike, though, which works them out pretty good, but seems to be just fine! Isn't Missouri Pretty? Even looking into a Trailor Park!

Cache, Cannon, and Sky--cute little pals!
The kids just discovering the wonders of little creatures!

My little Easter Chicks!

Their Smiles nearly melt me. They understand the meaning of Love and Forgiveness, and they understand that their Savior Loves them and that He is what Easter is. Halli the other day sang song after song of her testimony of Jesus and his love, etc. for over a half an hour. She had us all pick from her spoons in her hand for the title of the next song (read from her or one of our imaginations). It was so comforting to hear her sweet testimony of repentence, eternal life, the Atonement, the Premortal life, the Savior's life, from birth to baptism to death-- all in the sweet tones of an innocent melody. Do Children understand? Perhaps more than we realize.
Ah... is this not worth LIVING for??

A little bit of bikes

Caleb at one of Daddy's Races.

Just a quick little fuzzy shot of Brennan's better side! :) (Fuzzy meaning the picture--for clarification!) I will some day blog a few better shots of his races with the statistics--at least what statistics I can remember... I can safely say in most cases that he took the race. Crazy guy!

Cannon loves his little blue bike (which he traded successfully for his long time friend the binki'). He loves to ride it and is VERY caucious going down (hills), but at least he does it now with the breaks on and not walking it down the grand slopes of our little street. He had a few meetings with the cement that sparked the cauciousness!

Anyway, Caleb LOVES bikes, too and perhaps if we're all lucky, I may try to find a picture or two of Caleb and "his" bikes... he goes NUTS over them! He "vrooms" and calls thier name, "ba-ba!" Our shed full of bikes is his little piece of heaven-- he feels a sence of sensory overload when he enters, as we have way too many bikes right now! (not to mention the couple in our dining room which he has become very familiar with!)!

The girls LOVE riding, too, and I even have a healing scab on my knee (matching with the kid's knees), to prove that I love it and haven't been on one for a while! :) (Clips are NOT for kids! :))

A little bit of Dance!

The girls were in Dance during the School year and Loved every minute of it!! They love their teacher (who happens to be their Primary President), she is a hoot and loves the children!
This Minnie dance was their favorite (I think it had something to do with the costumes!) Too cute!

The Pirate Song they were very excited for, for it would be Cannon, Caleb and Daddy's Favorite (which it definately was Cannon's!!)!

I got a cute shot of Aspen, but my camera was acting up a bit (or rather, I the computer invalid was acting up) so I didn't get a great one of Just Halli, but you can see how darling they both are and how excited they were to perform! :)
